"To accompany the exhibition, Frank Lloyd Wright: American Architect, the Museum planned a publication in the form of a Festshchrift, commissioning essays from the best-known architectural figures of the day...Wright, however, took issue with parts of the book"-- (p.11) and it was not published. This publication includes the Festscrift essays, the incendiary exchange of correspondence between Wright and the Museum about the book and an essay by Kathryn Smith.
